Biography

Niloufar Mohseni is an Iranian musician born in 1992. At the age of 8, she began playing the Tombak, a traditional Persian drum. Throughout her career, Niloufar has had the opportunity to perform in numerous concerts and collaborate with renowned musicians. She has participated in notable events in many countries. Niloufar’s musical contributions can also be heard in various recordings. She has played Tombak on albums such as “Why Now?” by Naser Masoudi and Majid Derakhshani, “Sun” by Majid Derakhshani, “The Beautiful” by Farzan Pouraref, “Soza Me” by Amin Pouraref, and “Voix de L’ombre”. In 2015 she won the award of the 9th National Festival of Youth Music in Iran for playing Tombak. With her dedication to her craft and mastery of the Tombak, Niloufar Mohseni has established herself as a highly skilled musician. Her performances and collaborations with notable artists have garnered recognition and praise from audiences worldwide.
